FRANCESCONE, Benito “Ben” – RCAF Warrant Officer – Decorated Cold War Veteran, Peace Keeper and Flight Engineer. Passed away suddenly at Trenton Memorial Hospital on Saturday December 31, 2016 in his 81st year. Loving husband of Audrey Francescone (nee Ballman) and predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Eda Francescone. Beloved father of Linda Lowry and husband Steven, Chris and wife Sandra, Lisa, Jason and wife Valerie, Jennifer, and predeceased by his beloved son Michael (1977). Proud grandfather to Kirsten (Vladimir), Andrew (Marie), Lindsay, Matthew, Jessica (Jessie), Hunter, Haley, Katelyn, Caleb. Great-grandfather to Destinee, Colbie, Lily and Piper. Survived by his brothers Orvell and wife Gladys, Tony and wife Sue, Alphonse, and Tony. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Ben’s contribution to Canada throughout his military career was significant and he will be missed by his many military friends and colleagues. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. If desired, a donation may be made to the National Air Force Museum of Canada or the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
